Dancing with the Stars

I was afraid the shading on the helmet was going disastrously wrong as I was slapping down the watercolor, but on the whole this one ended up with a pretty good atmosphere I think--got pretty fortunate with the shadows on the face I think, and it doesn't hurt to be able to have two big exaggerated glowing jet blasts shooting across the background. The helmet should probably be just a shade wider but ah well you can't have everything. The big gradient required across the sky was too big for my painting speed, so you can see a couple vertical seams where part of it dried before I got back to continuing it along.
