I was struggling with drawing faces--they were coming out weirdly proportioned or warped somehow or just boring--so I thought for practice I'd just do some quick marker studies of faces from pictures in magazines and books and stuff.

This was an outrageously tanned model in an ad some gym mailed to me. It came out pretty well by my standards, even though I made her nose a bit too small and her teeth and left ear cartoonishly large. : D

I tried a few more and they did not come out very well. : P Also since I've started doing *two* pages of my "Supermassive Black Hole A*" webcomic per day I've kinda put this photo study idea by the wayside, although I still think it's not a bad way to practice.
